Master Ninja ranks are pretty much guaranteed unless you actively avoid UTs.Īnd one last thing dying or using items has NO PENALTY at all and savepoints work the same as in regular campaign so if you need a break you can quit before a chapter is finished. Oh right general tactic is UT and OT spam all over the place and not skipping fights as the kills-bonus at the end is the only one that really matters - timebonus being 2nd place but that isn't as important so feel free to backtrack to savepoints if needed. I'd recommend playing through regular MN before tackling CC so you don't get the constant disappointment of losing max upgrades - only exception would be the chapters with the girls - the earlier you got them out of the way the better. Same with certain enemies which will simply oneshot you if they manage to hit you. Grab-attacks on MN are absolute bullshit. The only downside is that you won't have 100-300k essence on you at all times to spam items -but that honestly shouldn't be an issue if you made it through regular MN chapters. You need a minimum of essence for full bonus. Although completion time for each chapter is very lenient, play time DOES ADD UP if you hit continue when you die, so hit no and reload from main menu. Burn essence to chain ET and UT, for 2k and 5k karma respectively. I'd say this is actually easier than the regular campaign because you're basically playing NG+ with every weapon maxed out which makes especially the early chapters a cakewalk compared to regular campaign where you can't even FS into ID with the sword until Chapter 3 (first upgrade is available in Ch2 but you need that for the Lunar). Try finishing fights within the countdown in order to get 10k karma for each one. MN Chapter Challenges are unlocked by playing through regular MN-chapters in the campaign.
